Wekiva Presbyterian Church In The Wekiva Area, FLorida

The Church That Shares Your Name and Your Neighborhood

Wekiva Presbyterian Church in Lake Mary Florida

A Church Family Rooted in the Wekiva Community

There is something fitting about the fact that Wekiva Presbyterian Church sits at the very heart of the Wekiva area. Named after the same springs that define this beautiful corner of Seminole County, our church has served as a spiritual anchor for residents since 1977. If you live in the Wekiva Springs region, Wekiva Club Estates, Sweetwater Oaks, or any of the surrounding neighborhoods along the Wekiva Springs Road corridor, this is your neighborhood church.

Located at 211 Wekiva Springs Lane, Longwood, FL 32779, Wekiva Presbyterian Church is not just nearby, it is part of the very community it serves. The area is a census-designated place in Seminole County with a population of approximately 24,000 residents and a strong culture of family, nature, and neighborly connection. These are the values we share and the place we are privileged to call home.

Worship in the Community You Love

When you worship at Wekiva Presbyterian, you are worshipping among your neighbors. Our Sunday service at 10:00 AM brings together local families, longtime residents, and newcomers in a shared experience of faith that is both deeply rooted and genuinely welcoming.

Our worship style is thoughtfully designed to honor the full breadth of the Christian tradition while remaining accessible and engaging for all generations. You will hear Scripture proclaimed with clarity and conviction, music that stirs the soul — from beloved hymns to contemporary worship — and a community that lives out its faith not just on Sunday mornings but throughout the week in the neighborhoods you share.

Can't make it in person?

Our Sunday live stream on YouTube and Vimeo is also available for those weeks when life in the area keeps you close to home.

The Wekiva Presbyterian Worship Experience:

  • Warm, personal welcome from a congregation that knows its neighbors.
  • Sermons grounded in Scripture and connected to the rhythms of Wekiva life
  • A rich musical tradition featuring vocalists, guitarists, piano, and handbell choirs
  • Children's Sermon and dedicated Children's Chapel, so the whole family can worship together
  • Communion on the first Sunday of each month
  • Post-service fellowship where lifelong friendships are formed

A Church That Serves the Wekiva Area

Wekiva Presbyterian Church was founded in the Sweetwater Oaks neighborhood and has never stopped investing in the people and places that make this part of Seminole County special. Our mission programs reflect a deep commitment to the community right outside our doors.

  • Christian Child Center (VPK): Our on-campus Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten program at 211 Wekiva Springs Lane has served nearby families since 2006. With consistently high kindergarten readiness rates in Seminole County, it is one of the most trusted early childhood programs in the neighborhood.
  • AdventHealth Hospice Center (Longwood): Our Presbyterian Women provide personal care bags for the families of patients at the AdventHealth Hospice Center, a ministry of compassion that touches families during their most vulnerable moments.
  • Local Food Pantries: We regularly donate food to hunger-relief organizations serving Seminole County, ensuring that neighbors in need throughout the Wekiva area have access to essential resources.
  • Community Yard Sales: Our periodic church-wide yard sales are open to all and raise funds for local and global missions.
