Current is Wekiva’s guitar group. Our ensemble is comprised of 3 acoustic guitarists, and one bass player. Our name, Current, reflects the meaning of the Indian word ‘Wekiva’, which means ‘flowing river’. Current plays modern hymns, hymns from our hymn book, and for special occasions some secular music. We are joined by the Stepping Stones, our vocal support group, often when presenting music during worship, or by the Chancel Choir.

We had lots of fun providing the entertainment for our annual Friendsgiving Luncheon. We would love to have other instrumentalists join us!!!… percussionist, electric guitar, keyboardist.
