Tells the Story of Christmas Decorations

Ever wonder why we have Christmas trees, lights, poinsettias and wreaths as decorations at Christmas time? The answer unfolds in a festive, casual evening at Wekiva Presbyterian Church as favorite Christmas carols are sung together, participants learn the stories behind the symbols that stand for this season of the year. Those attending also share in decorating the Christmas tree and then seeing it lighted for the first time, as the finale of the evening. Everyone is welcome to attend. The “Hanging of the Greens” happens December 2nd at 7:00 p.m.  in the Church Sanctuary.
