Grace Notes is a 3-5 octave bell choir comprised of experienced ringers.  We ring approximately once a month in worship from September – May.  We are in need of a ringer or two, so if you’ve been looking for a place to get your ‘bell fix’ please come join us!  

Current is Wekiva’s guitar group.  Our ensemble is comprised of 3 acoustic guitarists, and one bass player.  Our name, Current, reflects the meaning of the Indian word ‘Wekiva’, which means ‘flowing river’.  Current plays modern hymns, hymns from our hymn book, and for special occasions some secular music.  We are joined by the Stepping Stones, our vocal support group, often when presenting music during worship, or by the Chancel Choir.   We had lots of fun providing the entertainment for our annual Friendsgiving Luncheon.  We would love to have other instrumentalists join us!!!… percussionist, electric guitar, keyboardist.  

Kids Club Choir consists of elementary-age children from our congregation and community.  Kids Club Choir meets throughout the school year.  Rehearsals are part of a weekly Kids Club program that includes bible study, fellowship, and Music.  We sing age-appropriate anthems and share in worship monthly.   In addition, KCC participates in special Christmas and/or end of the year programs – always a favorite for the children!

Cherub Choir is made up of 4 and 5 year old preschoolers from our congregation and students attending our Christian Child Center (CCC).  They meet Wednesdays, 1:30-2:30pm, during the CCC school year.  We participate in worship approximately 3 times per semester singing age-appropriate anthems and songs to praise God.  They are often included in special programs in combination with the Kids Club Choir.

B.E.A.M. meets sporadically throughout the year to create art and other visuals to enhance and support worship, as-well-as preparing dramatic scripture readings and props necessary to bring scripture to life.  We have created paper-lace banners, silk banners, visuals for Easter and All Saints Sundays, cantatas, and dramatized scripture passages like ‘The story of Jonah’, or parables from Jesus’s teachings, or The Living Last Supper.  If you are a creative soul and would like to join us in bringing art of all types to life.
