The purpose of Presbyterian
Women is to: 
- study and hear God's Word
- minister to the needs of women
- present programs that fit women's needs
- channel talents into other phases of church work
- accept persons as individuals, not just contributors
- give warmth, security and acceptance
- grow as Christians
- learn to articulate our faith
- create a climate in which women can be nourished as they grow
in their faith
Morning Circle
The Morning Circle meets
the third Tuesday morning of each month beginning in September and
ending in May. We gather around 9:45 AM in the Reception Hall, start
our Bible Study at 10:00 AM and conclude with a short business meeting
and lunch. Each member brings a sandwich, and we take turns furnishing
salads and dessert. We have a varied group of ladies ranging from
young mothers through retired women. This is a wonderful opportunity
for fellowship and service.
Afternoon Circle
The Afternoon Circle
meets on the third Thursday of each month at 11:30 AM in the Reception
Hall of the church. The purpose of our circle is threefold: Bible
Study, Service and Fellowship. Each member of the circle brings
a sandwich to share for lunch with two hostesses providing the salad
and dessert. Lunch is served prior to the Bible Study. Afternoon
Circle sponsors a child from the Thornwell Home and remembers the
child on his/her birthday as well as all holidays. Participation
in all service projects for
Presbyterian Women is
enjoyed by members of this circle.
Evening Circle
The Evening Circle meets
at 7:00 PM on the third Tuesday of each month in the Reception Hall
of the church. We are a diversified group of working women, young
mothers, housewives and singles of all ages. Our evening begins
with dinner followed by our business meeting. Our Bible Study helps
us discover God's message for women in today's world. We sponsor
a child at the Thornwell Home in South Carolina, support B.E.T.A.
and various other mission programs. We invite you to join us for
an eveing of Bible study, mission projects and an opportunity to
become better acquainted with other church women through Christian
fellowship and love.
Village On The Green Circle
This circle meets regularly
on the third Monday of every month at 1:30 PM for an informal Bible
Study. We meet in the lounge of Building D of Village On The Green,
Longwood, Florida. We welcome interested church members, friends
and new residents of Village On The Green to join us as we form
bonds of spiritual faith and friendship.
